A SIlver Cloud Rolls Royce in the drive. This was the view out of my bedroom window. My father wrote the history of Rolls Royce, which was entitled 'The Magic of a Name - The Story of Rolls Royce'
I was mad about Scottish dancing when I was at school and this was a rehearsal for a solo called Blue Bonnets. I later won a silver cup for this at Edinburgh Castle.
Me with my shetland pony, 'Little Mary'
This is a photo of the See Saw in our garden at Heronsgate. My sister Lucy in on the right, then a little blondie called Sarah Styles, then Hazel who was covered in freckles, then Miranda Philby, then Ann Montgomery in the middle. Then comes Lesley with the pigtails, myself and Dominic with his arms around me. Standing at the back is Angela Killick. We lived next door to a Boys Boarding School called Beaumont House and the building in the background was the old laundry, long abandoned. It always gave me the creeps and I could hear cats fighting in there at night with terrible sounds of collapsing corrugated iron and floor boards as if there were giants in there... It was eventually demolished.
