Robert and I have known Jessica and Clara Coleridge all their lives, and they are now in their early thirties. In March 2001, Clara handed Robert a copy of a dusty typescript which she had found in her mother's attic. It was a story Robert had written about the two girls and their friends in 1985, and of which he had long since lost his own copy.
